With more than 30 years in healthcare and over 16 years as a board-certified adult nurse practitioner, Dr. Lucas founded Lucas Exceptional Healthcare with a single mission: bring high-quality, compassionate care directly to the people who need it most.
Dr. LaToya Lucas, DNP, ANP-C didn't build Lucas Exceptional Healthcare and Consultation because it was convenient. She built it because she saw too many people in our community falling through the cracks, facing long wait times, feeling unheard, and being treated like just another name on a chart instead of a whole person.
Lucas Exceptional Healthcare was founded to be different. Here, you are more than a patient, you are known, valued, and cared for. Dr. Lucas takes the time to listen, remembers the conversations that matter, follows up because she genuinely cares about your well-being, and delivers care in a way that best meets your needs whether that's in the office, in the comfort of your home, or through a secure virtual visit. A proud Aggie and lifelong resident of North Carolina, Dr. Lucas understands the barriers that prevent too many people, especially seniors, working families, and underserved communities from accessing consistent primary care. She built this practice to tear those barriers down.
